Renault Trucks is experienced in designing vehicles for construction activities, particularly worksite supply, an application where payload, comfort, mobility and power are of prime importance.
As much at home on the road as on rugged terrain, Renault Premium Lander is particularly suitable for concrete transport applications, building materials distribution, industrial waste and bulk foodstuff transport or road repair works. It is fitted with new Euro 5 engines, offering higher power and lower fuel consumption, as well as new manual or automated gearboxes.

The vehicle’s pre-drilling, fastening kit, brackets and plates are all designed to help body builders work easily, quickly and efficiently. Renault Premium Lander is very easy to adapt to all types of bodies, even the most specialised.

Spacious and featuring new, more welcoming interior colour schemes, the Renault Premium Lander cabs are available in three lengths (Day cab, Global cab and Sleeper cab) as well as three roof heights (flat, normal and raised).
To help the driver access his cab more easily and in greater comfort, the Renault Premium Lander features an acess concept which includes :
Day cabs, Global cabs and Sleeper cabs are all available with a choice of two or three access steps.
At the wheel of the Renault Premium Lander, the driver has all the essential information within his field of view: digital display, indicator lights, gauges and switches are grouped together on an ergonomically designed dashboard offering added comfort and safety.
The wide windscreen offers a panoramic view, while the rear side windows increase the field of vision by 30°.
The latest generation of Renault Premium Lander offers different braking systems: disc brake, exhaust brake, engine brake* and / or hydraulic retarder.
These various solutions can deliver braking power of up to 900 kW.

Maximum Torque from 950 RPM
Renault Premium Lander pushes performance limits even further with its single or double reduction axles and drive axles, as well as a double reduction tandem. Fitted with air suspension, it now gives you 50 kg of additional payload.

Designed to give you the best journey speed and lowest consumption, the new Euro 5 engines within the Renault Premium Lander offer power / torque ratios adapted to every kind of application.
The DXi7 engine offers power ratings of 270, 310 and 340 hp, while the DXi11 is available with 380, 430 and 460 hp.
The DXi11 engine reaches maximum torque at 950 rpm - the best performance on the market. It also features the broadest maximum torque operating range in its category (450 revs).
The ZF Ecosplit 16 speed manual gearbox systematically recommends the optimal gear in terms of engine torque and fuel consumption to the Renault Premium Lander driver.

Renault Trucks has chosen the SCR (Selective Catalist Reduction) post-treatment system to comply with the Euro 5 Standard. This consists of several elements:
New gearboxes for an optimal combination of payload, lower consumption and smooth driving :
7 manual gearboxes, including one with 6 speeds, two with 9 speeds and four with 16 speeds,
1 S3200 V automatic gearbox,
3 Optidriver+ automated gearboxes.
3 systems for smoother gearshifts :
To switch from one range of gears to another, the driver simply has to activate the press button on the gearshift lever handle.
The electrovalve protects the system from driver errors.
The gearbox splitter synchro protection prevents inadvertant shifting from a high to a low range of gears.
Gear selection is accurate, swift (with short selection travel) and secured (electrovalve).
The gearbox is designed to be used with double reduction drive axles, for optimal vehicle mobility.
The Optidriver+ automated gearboxes are particularly suitable for worksite applications.

Renault Trucks displays innovation with its electronically controlled air management system, Air Product Management. This system offers greater safety, as well as savings in weight, fuel consumption and maintenance:
Renault Kerax is fitted with drum brakes and the latest generation Electronic Braking System (EBS 5) as standard. This is a system of electronically controlled air braking which adapts vehicle braking wheel by wheel according to road grip conditions.

Braking system coupling Renault Trucks offers the possibility of coupling different braking systems: service brakes, engine brake and Intarder (ZF) or Voith (Optidriver+) retarders.
This system is controlled by the EBS (Electronic Braking System) or manually by depressing the brake pedal:
Front and rear parabolic suspension (normal or reinforced) with shock absorbers and antiroll bar.
Parabolic front suspension with a capacity of 7,1t, 8 t and 9t.
Parabolic or air rear suspension with a capacity of 11.5t or 13t.
Parabolic or air rear suspension with a capacity of 21t for tandems.
Maintenance frequency is adjusted to vehicle usage by means of an engine oil use analysis system. Maintenance assistance provided by rapid breakdown diagnosis and a predictive display of maintenance and oil drain frequency.
The gearboxes: oil drain frequency maximum of 90,000 to 400,000 km depending on oil quality and type of application.
Rear drive axles and tandems: maximum oil drain frequency of 120,000 to 400,000 km depending on oil quality and type of application.
